 CHALLENGE
  • A complex program with process and CIP (Cleaning In Place) sequences.
  • Learn the client's programming standards and libraries.
  • Customer request: be able to enable/disable PLC logic of new equipment and HMI 1 by 1 so Innovafeed can test them as soon as they are available.
 SOLUTION
  • The Contec Team created a routine interface for enabling and disabling each individual modification. When enabled, the functionality is executed in the sequences and visible on the HMI. The old logic is disabled.
  • FAT tests were conducted with the Innovafeed team at our site during development and on the customer's simulation system before the system went into production. Good testing resulted in a faster and easier start-up and commissioning.
