Our solutions
Orchestrate flow and flexibility in your warehouse
Warehouses are no longer static storage spaces. They have become dynamic hubs of movement, coordination, and real-time decision-making. With customer expectations rising and order cycles shrinking, keeping goods flowing efficiently is a competitive necessity.
We empower intralogistics teams to shift from reactive operations to proactive control. Contec’s solutions provide the digital backbone to manage complexity, automate routine tasks, and streamline coordination across zones, systems, and teams, all while improving traceability, safety, and throughput.
Whether you’re handling raw materials, finished goods, or internal transfers, we help you build a warehouse that adapts to change without compromising control.
Why MOM in warehousing and intralogistics?
Warehousing operations often rely on fragmented systems: spreadsheets, siloed WMS tools, and manual workarounds. This limits visibility and causes misalignment across teams and technologies.
Our MOM (Manufacturing Operations Management) approach replaces fragmentation with orchestration. We provide a centralized layer that connects people, machines, and systems, supporting accurate execution, real-time responsiveness, and data-driven optimization.
At the center of this is our platform CPMS: a modular, configurable environment designed to support warehouse-specific workflows, integrate seamlessly with WMS/ERP tools, and scale at your pace.
What sets our approach apart in logistics environments?
- Flow-driven execution: Synchronize tasks across inbound, storage, picking & outbound
- Live warehouse coordination: Monitor availability of people, zones, and machines in real time
- Exception handling: Detect, escalate, and resolve deviations dynamically
- Operator-centric tools: Digital instruction apps that guide tasks with clarity and precision
- Cross-system integration: Link WMS, ERP, AGVs, conveyors, and sensors into one flow
- Adaptable zoning & rules: Configure logic without reprogramming core systems
- Scalable for growth: Add flows, shifts, and automation layers without rework
- Insightful logistics KPIs: Visualize picking speed, dwell time, bottlenecks, and more
Cases
Steel Control Systems in the Heavy Steel Industry
To modernize a legacy inspection and repair line for steel coils, Contec was entrusted with a full electrical revamp for a steel manufacturer located in the Liège region. The client’s original setup was controlled by two console-mounted cabinets and a third relay-based electrical cabinet operating two DC motors via DC drives. This outdated setup posed both operational limitations and safety concerns.
