CPMS – the digital framework
With over 35 years of experience, Contec understands the challenges manufacturers face and the solutions they need. That’s why we have developed CPMS, a scalable framework compatible with industry standards.
Why CPMS?
- Adaptability: Quickly modify production processes and integrate new technologies.
- Compatibility: Connect any equipment or legacy system.
- Central Platform: Integrates all work processes, driving continuous improvement and innovation.
We see it as a commitment within our own company to invest in standards that allow us to serve our customers in the best way possible. CPMS is integrated within our standard integration services to deliver a high quality and standardised solution to our customers.

Our vision for your operations
01. The ultimate data model
Having a strong, flexible data model is the foundation for any digitization or digitized improvement program. As the data model of CPMS is consistent and designed specifically to digitize work processes and flows, the model becomes the ultimate data container from which advanced insights, optimization efforts, and AI initiatives can sprout.
02. Mould your production facility into our tailored data model and functional layer
03. Create a single operator user interface at the shopfloor
04. Move towards “Lights out factory” principles
Our method
We strongly believe that digitizing and integrating the shopfloor is a journey where smart technology goes hand in hand with an user centric approach. Just like CPMS enables the implementation of state of the art and future technologies, we at Contec believe in enabling you making the right future-proof decisions in your operations area.
Workshops
In the first step we try to immerse both sides of the project team in the process and the framework. We aim for:
- Review of the business requirements (single or multi-site)
- Optimal mapping of your operations into the CPMS framework, to avoid custom development as much as possible.
- Clear and agreed-upon functional requirements as mapped in CPMS.
- Optimal engagement of the project team and clear project milestones
Execution
During the execution phase, we go through 3 steps:
- Pilot: Once alignment is created, a pilot area is selected where the MVP is deployed, tested and tweaked
- Roll-out: Once the pilot has been implemented and approved, other areas or functionalities can be rolled out along the same principles.
- Go live: Go live or pilot or any other operational area afterwards is meticulously prepared, tested and supported via hypercare and as per your expectations
Support
After going live, we go the extra mile for supporting not only the system, but also the customer in changing business environments. This can be in the form of:
- SLA support
- Preventive maintenance and monitoring
- Small change requests
- A new project, going back to the start of the cycle.
